Advocacy: It works!We advocated for it on Capitol Hill, and we got it: In January, the Secretary of Health and Human Services sent a major report over to the U.S. Congress. The report describes the state of lupus research, impact of the disease, and the need for a comprehensive national provider health education program to help eliminate the barriers of racial disparities in early medical diagnosis and treatment of lupus.
