Sending our Condolences on the Death of NBA Coach's Daughter

The S.L.E. Lupus Foundation and Lupus Research Institute send deepest condolences to NBA Houston Rockets Head Coach Kevin McHale and his wife Lynn on the loss of their daughter, Alexandra "Sasha" McHale to the disease of lupus. We offer our heartfelt support to the family as an organization and as individuals whose every day is about helping improve the outlook for people with lupus. Sadly, lupus is primarily a woman's disease, and mostly young women like 22-year old Sasha who should be out conquering the world instead of battling a devastating disease.
