FDA Heightens Warning About Miscarriage, Birth Defects With Drug Used Off-Label for Lupus Nephritis

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Roche Laboratories, Inc, today issued a warning that mycophenolate mofetil (MMF, CellCept®, Roche) has been positively linked to first-trimester miscarriages and birth defects in the children of women who have taken it.
