Human Genome's Lupus Drug Shows Success in Trials; Shares Jump

A midstage trial of a Human Genome Sciences Inc. drug to treat a form of lupus showed sustained ability to reduce flare-ups caused by the chronic, life-threatening autoimmune disease in combination with standard medical care, the company said.
